Debbie Airey – Cert CII – Managing Director
In 1983 Debbie started her insurance career based at Swinton Insurance and moved to work for the AA and then on to two local insurance brokers based in Longridge where she remained for the next 17 years, for the later five years as Divisional Director. In April 2007 she bought her client bank and set up CCIB Ltd and has gone from strength to strength, building up an excellent working relationship with her clients and a good knowledge of the area and its needs.
Sophie Tomlinson – BA Hons, Cert CII – Operations Manager
Sophie joined the team in October 2012 in the role of Operations Manager. Her problem-solving skills, can do attitude and a variety of knowledge from IT to a range of insurance markets help the business to grow and thrive. She works alongside Debbie to ensure the business is compliant and running smoothly.
Catherine Hutchings – Commercial & Claims Manager
Catherine joined the team in November 2005, initially to work in the accounts department, but has progressed to Claims Manager. Catherine’s confidence and positive attitude ensures all claims are dealt with in an efficient manner, to achieve the best results. Catherine follows the company’s motto to the word ‘the broker that works for you’.
Hayley Howson – Cert CII – Personal Lines Manager
Hayley joined the team as Insurance Trainee in October 2008 and has since advanced her role to become Personal Lines Manager. Hayley deals with quotations for Private Car, Household & Let Properties. Her wealth of knowledge and experience ensure a complete service for our clients.
Matt McCallion – Cert CII - Commercial Account Handler
Matt has been part of the CCIB team since 2018. After joining as an apprentice, he has worked hard and gained knowledge and experience across a variety of insurance markets. He now specialises in commercial business and farm insurance. Matt is happy to help new and existing clients to understand their insurance needs and provide them with the best cover.
Jack Fletcher - Commercial Accounts Handler
Jack joined the team in January 2020. He handles a range of policies from personal lines to small commercial risks. Jack’s previous experience in accounting has given him a strong foundation for his job role, and he is currently studying for his Cert CII qualification in order to progress his insurance career even further.

Jackie Doran – Cert CII - Senior Account Executive
After specialising in farm insurance for over 21 years with the NFU, Jackie joined CCIB in 2021. Her experience as a shepherdess and relief milker, and a working farm background, gives her an extra level of understanding and awareness of the farming industry. Jackie has an in-depth knowledge of commercial and farm insurance, and a keen eye for detail which helps clients to find exactly the cover they need.
Isabel Byrne – Office Administrator
Isabel joined CCIB in 2021 after a successful career as a building society branch manager. Her efficient working practices and her willingness to go the extra mile for our clients makes her the perfect addition to our team. Isabel deals with personal lines and small commercial clients.
